HOW TO UPGRADE INFINIX HOT NOTE PRO X551 TO LOLLIPOP 5.1 (16+2,32+2)

Its been a Long Time waiting for the Infinix Hot Note Pro Lollipop Update, a lot of impatient users have killed their Infinix Hot Note PRO. I use this opportunity to console them for their lose and also encourage them to take it to CarlCare for repairs because they are still covered by warranty.

Today i will show you how to update your Infinix Hot Note Pro to Official Lollipop 5.1 safely without any issues.

I think you are aware of what you are about to do and the risk involved, before we get started please make sure you have all the files listed below.

REQUIREMENTS :
1>>Download: Infinix Hot note Pro X551–BC-L–20150828
2>>Download: SP FlashTool V5
3>>How To Install MTK Preloaders Driver
4>>Un-Root Your Device
Now lets start...

1. After the downloading all the files needed (i.e infinix hote note rom,sp flash tool e.t.c, you need to extract them on different folders so that you will not go and flash the wrong file.
2.Open flastool.exe as ADMINISTRATOR
3.Use the picture above as a Guide.
4.Load the scatter file.
5.Choose Firmware Upgrade labelled 2.
6.Turn off your phone.
7.Remove your SD CARD,SIMS and remember this will wipe your Internal Storage so make backups.
8.Click on DOWNLOAD labelled 3.
9.Plug in Your phone….
10.Let it do its Magic.
11.When you get the GREEN mark you can now unplug your phone from the PC.
12.Turn on your phone it will take 5-10 Minutes to complete the boot process.
13.Set it up, welcome to Lollipop 5.1
YOU CAN ROOT YOUR PHONE AGAIN AFTER THE THE UPGRADE.
Download: Kingroot and root your device. Make sure you have active internet connection.
